Bassham Law Firm PLLC SMS Messaging Terms of Use
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Program name. Bassham Law Firm PLLC SMS Messaging (the “Program”).
Program description. Bassham Law Firm PLLC (“the Firm”) uses SMS text messaging to communicate with clients and prospective clients regarding their legal matters. Messages may include appointment and court date reminders, scheduling, requests for documents or information, billing and invoice reminders, and brief case-related updates.
Consent. By providing your mobile number to the Firm and agreeing to receive text messages, whether verbally, in writing, or electronically, you consent to receive text messages from the Firm at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of retaining the Firm or of purchasing any services.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your case activity.
Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt-out instructions. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again.
Support. For help, contact us at 501-459-9500 or Cody@BasshamLaw.com, or write to 700 S. German Lane, Suite 104, Conway, AR 72033.
Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Important limitations. Text messages are not a secure form of communication. Please do not send sensitive or confidential details by text, and call the office to discuss them. Text messaging is not monitored around the clock and should not be used for emergencies. Sending a text to the Firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Text messages are for brief, case-related communication and do not replace legal advice given by an attorney.
Privacy. Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, available at www.basshamlaw.com/Privacy. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
